We were saddened to learn that Darlene passed away in 2022. Here is her death notice.
DARLENE TINTORRI-JEWETTMarch 23, 1939 - April 23, 2022Darlene Tintorri Jewett passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the age of 83. She is survived by her four daughters, Victoria, Jennie, Jannie, and Amy Beth. Vickie and her husband, Ken live in Reno, NV and have three children, Andrew, Darlene’s first grandchild, Austin and Audrey; and great-grandchild, Annelise (Audrey). Jannie lives in Vallejo, CA. Jennie, who also resides in Vallejo, has three boys, Kyle, Everette, and Ryan. Amy Beth and her husband, Kelvin live in Benicia, CA and have two children, Paige and Crisoforo and a grandchild, Lola Faye, and Darlene’s first great-grandchild, Paige. Darlene was born in Vallejo, CA March 23, 1939. Darlene worked at Kaiser Permanente for over 30 years as a payroll coordinator and was loved by everyone, having made many great and wonderful friends throughout her career and life. Her family is devastated by this sudden and unexpected loss, as we all thought she would live well over 100 years. A celebration of life will be planned at a later time. In the meantime, please do what Darlene would so much appreciate; Greet everyone you meet with a warm smile. Pick wildflowers; hug and kiss your family as often as you can; and above all, love one another. She was a free spirit and will forever remain in all of our hearts. In lieu of flowers, do what she taught us; a random act of kindness, pay it forward, or help someone in need. As a remembrance to Darlene we want to share two things she always said to us:

Here are the folks who enjoyed our 67th Reunion luncheon at Zio Fraedo’s in Vallejo. Click here for more photos.
Front: Joan Cattalini, Al Cattalini, Mary Lessard Momsen, Phil Avellar.
Rear: Terry Curtola, Margaret Riley Finley, Jean Greggins Morgart, Janice Stumley Andrade, Joan McDonald.
It was a fun afternoon with good food and lots of talk and memories. Margaret Riley Finley won the award for traveling the furthest, having flown in from Portland for the occasion.
Bob and Claudia Moelk were slated to attend until we got this note from Bob: Unfortunate turn of events for me. I had a stroke on the 14th, and was hospitalized for 4 days, and am recovering at home. Fortunately, I was given one of those clot busting drugs, and it looks like I’ll get back to 100% shortly. But I have a follow up appointment on the 25th that is important and can’t make it to the reunion. Please give my best to everyone. I was looking forward to being there. Old age is Hell!
Gary and Vi Coronado were also coming but a medication issue forced their recent cancelation.
Here’s a note we received from Judy Marion Barrow: Well I have been saving your email since its arrival but every time I read it, I think yes yes I really want to come down BUT I have a big problem. Of course we all are about the same
age
but we have a travel distance probably longer than others sooo we are not going to come down for the luncheon. Please take lots of pictures and send them to us. I will also take a bunch here so you can see our new home. NOTHING LIKE THE ONE WE HAD in Incline Village. WOW what a beautiful home and fantastic view of Lake Tahoe. Oh well. Ken and I will be thinking about all that can be at the gathering. ENJOY LOVE TO ALL.
More photos from the reunion are available here.
Mary Lessard Momsen sent this photo and asked, Anybody remember this picture and where it was taken?
I would add, Can you identify the people?

We now have the death notice for Ralph Harris, an especially sad one since it incorporates the death notice of his wife, Sharon, who passed away just weeks after Ralph.
RALPH and SHARON HARRISRalph and Sharon (Kent) Harris, both first-generation Vallejo natives, went to their eternal rest just weeks apart in late 2023 after long battles with illness. Sharon was a member of the Vallejo High School class of 1962, and she loved being a part of one of the school’s most active reunion committees and alumni groups. She graduated from the Kaiser Foundation School of Nursing in Oakland in 1965, and then she began her 45-year career at Kaiser Permanente in Vallejo, where she worked as a surgical nurse and developed systems to help the team more easily prepare for surgeries. Ralph graduated from St. Vincent Ferrer High School in 1957 after attending and being the first to raise the flag at what was a brand new St. Basil’s School. He went to PGA school, which helped him establish a career in golf that lasted more than three decades, first as assistant pro and then head golf pro at Blue Rock Springs Golf Course, where he remained until his retirement. Before his career in golf, Ralph worked for the California Department of Forestry, now Cal Fire, in Ukiah. He remained very proud of that work for the rest of his life. Ralph and Sharon met in 1962 and dated for 4 years until they were married in 1966. They shared nearly 62 years together, most of that time in Vallejo. They are survived by their son, Ryan, their granddaughter, Chloe and their great-grandson, Hector. The family is holding an informal gathering Saturday, February 3rd at Noon at their gravesite under the gazebo at Rockville Cemetery, 4219 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or any Vietnam veterans’ organization.

We received word from a reliable source that Ralph Harris passed away on December 10, 2023 after a bout with pneumonia. We sent out a preliminary email to the class and searched, without success, for a death notice or other information. The website has now been updated to reflect Ralph’s death. If we learn anything more, we’ll publish it here.

We recently reported by email that George Coppo passed away on September 25. Here is his death notice.
GEORGE A. COPPO1935 - 2023George A. Coppo, husband of Linda N. Belloli, passed away on September 25, 2023 at the age of 88. George graduated from St. Vincent’s in 1953 and went on to attend California Maritime Academy (CMA) where he graduated in 1957. He married Linda August 11, 1957, and they were married for 66 years until his passing on September 25, 2023. After George and Linda married, he went on to serve in the Navy and was stationed in Honolulu Hawaii. George served in the Navy, active and reserve, retiring at the rank of Lt. Commander. George worked in the maritime industry for his entire career and worked for Matson Navigation, Utah International, BHP, and retired as President of International Marine Transportation. George and Linda have three children: George Anthony (Tony) Coppo; Gina Lynn Coppo Harrer; and Lynnette Ann Coppo Giacobazzi. They have six grandchildren and one great grandchild, with a second great grandchild due in December.
