We've arranged a discounted group rate for lodging at the new Marriott Courtyard Vallejo Napa Valley. Located at 1000 Fairgrounds Drive in Vallejo, it's convenient to Highways 80, 37, and 29 — and about six miles from Eagle Vines Golf Club. You'll pay just $129 per night instead of the regular $159.
Rooms at this special rate are limited, so make your reservations soon. Five rooms have been set aside for a two-night stay, Friday and Saturday, June 8 and 9. Another 15 rooms have been blocked off for Saturday night, June 9. But some rooms have already been taken by your classmates.
To reserve one of these $129 rooms, call 1-888-236-2427, then press 3 to select Courtyard. Request a reservation at "Courtyard by Marriott Vallejo Napa Valley" and ask for the special "Class of 1957" rate. Rooms not booked by May 8, 2007 will be returned to the general pool for public use.
Other Hotels: If the Courtyard has filled up — or if you are looking for lower cost accomodations — consider these nearby hotels:
Breakfast. But wherever you stay Saturday night, we hope you join us for an informal no host breakfast 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning at the Mariott Courtyard.
Tour of St. Vincent's. Sister Adele Gerlach will escort us on a special tour of St. Vincent's at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. We'll tour the old high school, the gym, and the recently restored church. For some recent photos of the campus, click here.
Picnic. Our past experience has shown that, even with the evening event and the next-morning breakfast, there just isn't enough time for all the visiting and catching up with old friends. Janice Stumley Andrade has volunteered her Napa home for a barbecue picnic at 2:30 p.m., right after the tour. If you wish, you can meet at Janice's at 12:15 p.m. to carpool to the school tour. Click here for more information.
If you still haven't had enough visiting with classmates, George Coppo (Linda Belloli's husband) and Garry Anderson have organized a Class of 1957 Cruise to Alaska, September 1-8, 2007. Click here for more information.
